Smallholding Secrets grows…

  • Dream it.

With so many guests enjoying our afternoon teas and picnic on the smallholding, we started to look at how we could make ourselves accessible to more people.

With a passion for hospitality, having had a small hotel and cafes in the past, it wasn’t long before dreams of a tearoom came into reach.

An opportunity was presented and soon Hayley decided that her days in the classroom could come to an end and a dream could become a reality.

  • Build it.

In July 2025, Hayley leaves the classroom for the final time, and on 6th August, 2025, the doors to Smallholding Secrets: Y Pantri are opened.

Y Pantri holds on to the qualities so important to us on the smallholding. We use as much as possible in the kitchen as we can grow and produce on the smallholding, to continue to give the real taste of smallholding life. And the cakes and pastries, jams and chutneys are all homemade.

  • Share it.

Not only can you taste our own pork products in Y Pantri, but you can also buy some to cook at home.

It is important to us that we source as many products from local producers as possible, considering the ethics behind each business. So, for example, our milk, butter and cream comes from a farm just 10 miles away, freshly made for us.

We have a farm shop to buy locally produced products, such as flowers, wooden bowls, wool. You can buy the tea and coffee you enjoy with us to try at home too.
